Government is too big, it spends too much, and has taken away far too many of our liberties. The state budget has grown 40% since I last served — and taxpayers in northern Kent County are the ones carrying the weight.
I've seen the inside of the machine and all the waste. I know how Lansing works, and I know what it takes to bring serious fiscal oversight back to the process. With a term under my belt, I'll hit the ground running on day one: auditing every line item in the budget, cutting taxes, restoring parents' rights, and standing with law enforcement.
I've never been afraid to challenge the establishment or buck the status quo, and that's not going to change. I'm going back to help stop the madness — because we can't afford this.
